A compact thermal platform covering headborne observation, handheld reconnaissance, weapon-sight and clip-on enhancement roles.
Product overview
Ares Series uses a modular quick-detach architecture that transitions between handheld observation and weapon aiming in about five seconds. A325 and A625 use 384 × 288 and 640 × 512, 12 μm vanadium-oxide detectors respectively, while sharing an F25mm/F1.0 objective, 1024 × 768 OLED display, IP67 protection, at least six hours of runtime and system weight at or below 360 g.
One platform covers four mission roles
About five seconds to transition between handheld and weapon-sight use

Problems addressed
Reduces the burden of carrying separate complete thermal devices for different roles; Shortens transition time among observation, reconnaissance and aiming roles; Supports reliability in wet, dusty, high-shock and high-vibration environments; Keeps observation, recording, storage and wireless connectivity on one platform
