PL-R is designed for field tasks that need ranging and firing-correction reference in one device. Single or continuous ranging can feed distance and pitch into the calculation flow, which combines wind, weather, Coriolis effect, firearm, ammunition, and scope data to display vertical and horizontal corrections. The companion Optic Master app supports device management, parameter maintenance, and history review.

Fast ranging workflow
The device supports single, continuous, and height ranging. The manual specifies a 5-800 m range on building targets, ±1.5 m accuracy, and a continuous-ranging rate above 1 Hz; rain, snow, fog, haze, and dust can affect real-world ranging performance.
Ballistic data loop
Distance and pitch can be captured automatically with the ranging key, while wind, weather, Coriolis effect, firearm, ammunition, and scope data can be maintained in the app. Results are displayed as vertical and horizontal corrections with mm, MOA, MRAD, MIL, and Click units.
Bluetooth toolchain
PL-R can pair with the Optic Master app, a compatible anemometer or Kestrel, and a Bluetooth remote. The app provides single and continuous ranging, device rename and removal, device and ballistic-parameter updates, and access to ten history records.
Portable field construction
The approximately 300 g body integrates a 1.3-inch OLED, a bottom Picatinny mount, and a CR123 battery system. It is rated IP65 and specified for operation from -20°C to +50°C.
