A remote voice-signal acquisition and analysis system comprising passive acoustic beacons, active antennas, and an analysis host.
Product overview
A roughly 1 mm passive beacon is placed in the target space; the host retrieves and analyzes sound over a microwave link in real time. The battery-free beacon can be concealed in non-metallic materials for long-term use.
Approx. 1 mm thin for concealment in non-metallic materials
Short learning curve and over 90% speech intelligibility
Remote operation through walls, floors, or windows
Real-time transfer, dual headphone outputs, and internal/USB storage
Applications
Long-range voice acquisition through walls
Covert acoustic sensing for investigations and evidence collection
Remote audio-acquisition tasks requiring a long-life passive front end
Feature guide
System composition
The standard system includes one analysis host, two active antennas, and 130 × 130 × 1 mm passive beacons (ten hard beacons supplied).
Operating method
Place the passive beacon in the target space and conceal it in a non-metallic material. Aim the active antenna toward the area; the host receives, analyzes, monitors, and stores the voice signal in real time.
Deployment conditions
Antenna I reaches ≥40 m in open space and can penetrate one to two conventional masonry walls or floors. Custom Antenna II reaches ≥80 m and can penetrate two or more. Metal barriers, metal framing/coatings, rain, and snow reduce performance.
